Criteria for Admission:
All criteria for admission, regardless of whether the candidate attends public or non-public schools must be met prior to submitting an application. Students meeting academic requirements will be invited to audition. Audition invitations will be mailed to non-public applicants. The sending school counselor will notify public school applicants.
Criteria below is the same for both middle and high school applicants:
- Academic Requirements:
- 80% on PSSA or Standardized testing submitted
- Report Card Grades – A’s and B’s
- Audition Requirements:
- Vocal – All students are required to audition for vocal music, as all of our students are required to be in our choir.
- Instrumental – Students that have played an instrument for more than one year are encouraged to audition with their instrument. Students auditioning instrumental are required to bring a prepared piece to play. School band music and études are acceptable music to prepare for audition. Sight Reading will also be given during the audition.
Please note that all qualified applicants may not be admitted due to space limitations.
